Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) explains the rules for using Falix's hosting services — including Minecraft Server Hosting and VPS Hosting. When we say "we", "us", or "our", we mean Falix, operated by SIA Baltijas Pakalpojumi.

By using our services, you agree to follow this policy. If something here doesn't make sense, feel free to reach out and ask. We're happy to clarify.

Who This Applies To

This AUP applies to all customers, users, and anyone accessing or using our hosting infrastructure. Whether you're running a Minecraft server, a VPS, or any other service we offer — these rules apply to you. Failure to adhere to this policy may result in suspension or termination of services.

Our services are meant for legitimate, constructive purposes. You may not use them for any of the following:

Illegal Activities

• Engaging in or promoting illegal activities — including but not limited to fraud, drug trafficking, and unauthorized access to computer networks.
• Hosting, distributing, or transmitting any material that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Harmful Activities

• Distributing malware, viruses, or other malicious software designed to harm or disrupt the operation of other systems.
• Conducting or promoting network attacks — including but not limited to denial-of-service (DoS), distributed denial-of-service (DDoS), and hacking attempts.

Intellectual Property Infringement

• Hosting, sharing, or distributing copyrighted material without proper authorization from the copyright owner.
• Violating intellectual property rights — including but not limited to trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and proprietary information.

Unsolicited Communications

• Sending or facilitating unsolicited bulk emails (spam) or other forms of unsolicited communications.
• Engaging in any activity that results in the blacklisting of our IP addresses.

Fair Use

We don't impose specific limits on bandwidth or disk space, but we do expect you to use our services in a way that's consistent with normal usage patterns. Activities that result in excessive resource consumption or degradation of service for other customers may result in restrictions or additional charges.

Resource Abuse

To keep things running smoothly for everyone, please avoid:

• Excessively consuming system resources — including CPU, memory, disk space, and network bandwidth — in a way that negatively impacts other customers.
• Running processes or services that significantly degrade the performance or security of our infrastructure.
• Using our services purely for data storage. We actively remove data that isn't associated with essential server functions. We recommend using our built-in backup system instead.

If you're running a Minecraft server on our platform, these additional rules apply:

Compliance with Mojang's EULA

• You must comply with Mojang's End User License Agreement (EULA) for Minecraft. Violating the EULA will result in immediate suspension or termination of your services.
• You must not use our hosting to facilitate or promote any activity that violates Mojang's EULA.

Prohibited Minecraft Content

• Distributing any content that infringes on Mojang's intellectual property rights or violates Minecraft's community guidelines.

Server Modifications

• You're responsible for making sure any mods or plugins you install don't compromise the security or stability of your server.
• Mods or plugins that excessively consume resources or negatively impact the hosting environment may be removed.

Your Security Responsibilities

Keeping your account and server secure is a shared responsibility. On your end, that means:

• Using strong passwords and updating them regularly.
• Applying security patches and updates to your software and applications.
• Protecting your accounts and systems from unauthorized access.

Content Restrictions

You're responsible for the content you host. Please make sure it doesn't:

• Contain or promote hate speech, violence, discrimination, or harassment.
• Include material that is obscene, defamatory, libelous, or invasive of privacy.
• Violate any laws or regulations regarding child exploitation or pornography.

How We Enforce This Policy

We reserve the right to take appropriate action to enforce this AUP. Depending on the severity of the violation, we may:

• Issue a warning to the account holder.
• Suspend or terminate the customer's account.
• Block access to offending content or services.
• Cooperate with law enforcement authorities in investigations of suspected illegal activities.

Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violations of this AUP, please report them to lily@falixnodes.net. Include as much detail as possible so we can investigate and resolve the issue promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP at any time. Changes take effect immediately once posted to our website. It's your responsibility to check back periodically to stay up to date — but we'll do our best to keep you informed of any significant changes.

Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services — including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
