Questions, answered
How do I add mods?
Open Steam Workshop in the panel and search, or paste an item, a link or a collection. Mods download the next time the server starts. You can also list Workshop IDs in Startup, separated by commas with no spaces.
Can I change the map?
Yes. Set Server Map in Startup to TheIsland, Ragnarok, Valguero_P, Fjordur or another official map, then restart.
How do I change taming and XP rates?
Stop the server, edit GameUserSettings.ini or Game.ini in the file manager, then start it. ARK rewrites its settings when it shuts down, so edits made while it runs are lost.
Is the world saved when I stop the server?
Yes. Stopping or restarting runs saveworld first.
Is this ARK: Survival Ascended?
No. These servers run ARK: Survival Evolved.
How long does the first start take?
About 10–15 minutes while ARK and your mods download. Later starts only fetch what changed.
Where are your servers?

Is my server protected from DDoS attacks?
Yes. Attack traffic is filtered before it reaches your server, and you can add your own firewall rules on top.
