Is the free plan really free?

Yes. Your bot gets 512 MB of RAM, a quarter of a CPU core and 2 GB of storage at no cost. It runs a week at a time, and renewing takes a few seconds. Want it online nonstop? Premium has no timer.

Does my bot need a port?

No. Your bot connects out to Discord, so there’s nothing to open. Adding a web dashboard later? Every server comes with a port ready to go.

Where do I put my bot token?

In the panel’s secret variables, safely out of your code and your Git history. Streamer mode keeps it hidden on screen too.

Will it restart itself after a crash?

On Premium, yes. It restarts on its own after a crash or when it stops responding. Every plan gets crash reports and alerts, so you always know what happened.

Can I write it in TypeScript?

My bot crashes on start with "Privileged intent provided is not enabled". What did I break?

Hey Sam! Nothing's wrong with your code. Your bot asks for a privileged intent, like Message Content, that's switched off in the Discord Developer Portal. Turn it on under Bot, restart, and it'll log in.
